SUMMARY OF THE REPORT

Voluntary fire department Sveti Nikole(in further text: VFD Saint Nikole) in course на the year conducted more from 20 activities who were provided in frames на the planned goals for firefighting prevention, education, realization на training sessions and implementation на direct actions, derived from the planned annual program to realization на expected results. Especially we want yes we emphasize that more from 50 activities for calendar 2020 year were unplanned, they were the product of the emergence of the global pandemic with KOVID-19.

The activities and achieved results are owe на the annual program на VFD Sveti Nikole, which financially e supported from side на ULSG Saint Nikole, individual donations from side на ours supporters, financial and support in kind на services from side на business community as well as donations from domestic and international donors and supporters.

Realized activities during the year:

Active participation of 60 volunteer firefighters in localizing 15 fires (urban and forest fires on the territory of the municipalities of Sveti Nikole and Lozovo;
Made teaching plan and program for theoretical and practical training на 8 young volunteer firefighters;
Made teaching plan and program for theoretical and practical training на 12 volunteer firefighters;
Approved project “Volunteers firefighters companies, active social actors !!!, financial supported from the program for small action grants CM-MAK-02 на CIVIKA MOBILITAS ;

Purchased new basic equipment inverter air conditioner NEO and electric stove AMICA .

COVID – 19

Made 3 automatic innovative ramps for disinfection на vehicles на entrances на the city of Sveti Nikole, by design and development of our member Darko Petrushev ;
Realized more from 40 disinfection на the streets in municipality Saint Nikole with PP vehicle Denis;
Implemented 10 distributions на disinfectants for citizens на 3 control point with PP vehicle Mercedes 814D.

In implementation на the annual program no are implemented all provided activities from aspect of the modest financial funds with who has ours organization, the same were from section на provided trainings, coping with the crisis with COVID-19, as and promotion на ours facilities before all educational institutions, business sector and state and local stakeholders.

2 . INTRODUCTION

Vision: Sveti Nikole to be community of healthy, good luck and conscientious citizens who actively contribute for prevention from fires and other elementary disasters, building and harmony between man and nature.

Mission: VFD Sveti Nikole works на prevention for protection на the animal middle and nature from fires and others harmful impacts на voluntary basis through education and coordination of citizens in direct actions and interventions.

Achieving long-term financial sustainability;
Institutional strengthening of the organization and
Building a network of voluntary fire departments in the Republic of Macedonia .

History

Voluntary fire department Sveti Nikole works and functions from 1935 and e non-profit, humanitarian organization from the domain на fire protection which functions на voluntary basis. Seeing her her the need на community from organized access for localization на fires, coping with floods, earthquakes and others natural disasters, then advanced youth, merchants, craftsmen and urban authorities, jointly approached to initiative for formation на organized fire service, as result на she initiative are forms ours institution, which to today in continuity more from 85 years them realized their programmatically activities. In the meantime, permanently works for promotion and increase на institutional capacities with purpose build на modern, stable and sustainable fireproof system in Sveti Nikole and wider на territory на Republic of Macedonia, through raising of the public consciousness for the citizens, especially the young population for dangers from fires, other natural disasters and traffic accidents and epidemics (COVID-19). VFD Sveti Nikole, dedicated works на programmatic and structural transformation and building of facilities на the organization from aspect на quality and quantity на human and material-technical resources what e and one from goals who VFD are strive yes them reach on the road to achievement на mission for existence на the company. We want yes point out that from the establishment to today in the parent book for records на the fire department are registered 351 members, who have taken actively participation in implementation на all program goals of our humanitarian and non-profit association.

Ours organization have no paid staff and all activities them implements on a voluntary base. Bodies на management на VFD Saint Nikole are: Assembly, Menagament Board, Supervisory Board and Eldership.

3 .RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES

In calendar 2020 year VFD Sveti Nikole conducted 60% from planned activities from its annual program funded from side на the unit на local self-government Sveti Nikole.

Started new 5 monthly project на 01.12.2020 with title “Volunteers fire departments, active state actors !!! , financial supported from the program CM- MAK-02 small action grants на the donor CIVIC MOBILITAS – (project of the Swiss agency for cooperation and development (SDC) , presented from The Swiss embassy in Republic Macedonia, who him implement NIRAS from Denmark , MCIC and FCG Swedish development AB from Sweden . The project e in direction на development на voluntary firefighting sector in Republic of Macedonia through mapping and identification of existing voluntary firefighters companies, theirs human and material-technical facilities, resources and needs, for building на modern, stable and functional voluntary fireproof sector in the state, as one of the most essential for the safety of the whole community and the protection of nature.

The funds allocated to our organization are for the construction of a new garage for PP vehicles.

The regular annual program of VFD Sveti Nikole for 2020, financially supported by the LSGU Sveti Nikole, the following activities were realized:

Educational part conducted trainings

Implemented 3 workshops after 6 hours for firefighting tactics for extinguishing на urban fires involving 8 young members of the VFD;
Realized 4 educational workshops after 6 hours for 12 participants with meeting of breathing apparatus and the manner of their use in urban fires;
Education of 8 members of VFD for tactics and techniques in creating situations for rescue and rescue in traffic accidents.

4 .COVID – 19
