EXPECTATIONS FROM THE PROJECT

The general expected impact from the implementation of the action is a social change in the local and national community, including better cooperation between all relevant state and local institutions in charge of civil protection of the population, the Directorate for Protection and Rescue and the Crisis Management Center of North Macedonia, the entire business community, all the active voluntary fire departments in the country, between the non-governmental sector and the relevant local institutions and authorities in order to meet the expectations of the citizens who are directly affected by the disasters caused by the human factor. The ultimate benefit of all the activities and products that will result from the project is the whole society, that is, the people, institutions and business community that make it up with all the man-made incidents. As a result of the project, VFD Sveti Nikole also expects an increase in the capacities of its membership, through the acquisition of new crucial knowledge, which it will share in the direction of increasing awareness and conscientiousness of the entire community, through the organization of workshops, campaigns, etc. Acquired new innovative, scientific and practical knowledge in the business sector for the protection and safety of employees in catastrophic situations. We believe that the implementation of the project, in addition to other effects, will indirectly affect the perception of influence and the opportunities offered by the civil sector through volunteerism and civic engagement. Also, we expect to improve the cooperation and collaboration between the partners in the action, their mutual cooperation will provide an opportunity to sharing and express different ideas, attitudes, opinions, experiences which will in turn initiate indirect social changes and promote common causes, but also open opportunities for participatory and active participation of citizens and the business sector, in the direction of reducing the risk factors produced by humans and his carelessness and lack of education about the consequences of his behavior towards public goods.
